Titanium round bars are among the most sought-after offerings from Daxun Alloy China. The production process for Grade 1 Titanium bars is more mechanized than that of blocks and plates. Grade 1 Titanium bars come in over forty distinct grades, with Grade 5, Grade 2, and Grade 1 being the most popular. These titanium round bars are available in diameters up to 14 inches. Pure Titanium Grade 1 is renowned for its excellent ductility and cold formability, making it ideal for deep drawing applications. Furthermore, Titanium Grade 1 is celebrated for its superior general and seawater corrosion resistance and its resilience to oxidizing, neutral, and mildly reducing environments, such as chlorides. With its low density-about half that of nickel-based alloys-high strength-to-weight ratio, and outstanding corrosion resistance, titanium is the material of choice for various challenging chemical environments.
DAXUN® Ti Grade 1 is a commercially pure (CP) titanium bar, distinguished by the following characteristics:
Daxun produces high-quality titanium bars with exceptional performance, and can also manufacture according to customer specifications as follows:
Daxun conducts several rigorous quality assurance tests, including mechanical tests such as area tensile strength, chemical analysis, material positive identification (PMI) tests, micro and macro testing, intergranular corrosion (IGC) tests, ultrasonic flaw detection tests, pitting and resistance tests, hardness tests, material positive identification, expansion tests, and more. These tests ensure that the Grade 2 Titanium Rod and Grade 2 Titanium Round Bar materials meet the required application standards. During production, we meticulously measure the diameter, thickness, and surface quality of the product.

AMS 4965 - Bars, Forgings (Solution treated and aged)
AMS 4967 - Bars, Forgings (Annealed, Heat Treatable)
In the solution-treated and aged state, rapid quenching of small sections ensures optimal properties. However, larger sections and/or delayed quenching may result in suboptimal properties.
In the annealed condition, the typical hardness ranges from Rockwell C 30-34, and in the solution and aged condition, it ranges from Rockwell C 35-39.
Utilizing austenitic stainless steel machining techniques, Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy bar can be precisely machined. This process involves slow machining speeds, high feeds, rigid tools, and the abundant use of non-chlorinated cutting fluids for optimal results.
The Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy rod is eminently weldable in both its annealed state and solution-aged conditions. Post-weld heat treatment facilitates aging. To prevent contamination by oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen, fusion welding should occur in an inert gas-filled chamber or using inert gas to shield the molten metal and adjacent heated zones. Spot, seam, and flash welding are also viable without a protective atmosphere.
Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 titanium alloy rods may face hydrogen contamination from improper pickling and contamination from oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon during processes like forging, heat treating, and brazing. These contaminations can decrease ductility, negatively impacting notch sensitivity and forming characteristics.

Titanium is not recommended for use with strong reducing acids, fluoride solutions, pure oxygen, or anhydrous ***.
Grade 2 Titanium's general corrosion rates are detailed in Table 1. CP titanium boasts excellent resistance across numerous environments, including:
CP Titanium demonstrates superior resistance to crevice corrosion in salt solutions compared to stainless steels. CP titanium remains unaffected by crevice corrosion at temperatures below 80°C (176°F), regardless of pH, even under superchlorinated conditions.
Grade 2 Titanium exhibits excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in hot chloride solutions and is immune to SCC in seawater.
Titanium proves outstanding resistance to erosion in flowing environments, ensuring long-lasting performance.
Our high-purity Grade 1 Titanium Rods exhibit remarkable resistance to seawater, enduring velocities up to 130 ft/sec (40 m/sec) with negligible impact. Even the presence of abrasive particles like sand poses only minimal risk to the material's integrity.
Exposed to seawater, our titanium shows no significant hydrogen absorption, even at elevated temperatures. Hydrogen absorption typically occurs only under the following three stringent conditions:
Titanium alloys from Jiangsu Daxun Alloy Co., Ltd. are uniquely resistant to microbiologically influenced corrosion. While they are non-toxic to marine life, thus susceptible to biofouling, this can be mitigated by chlorination or increased water velocity in heat exchangers.
Unlike many other materials, our titanium does not suffer a reduction in fatigue performance due to seawater exposure. Both fatigue endurance limits and fatigue *** growth rates remain consistent whether tested in air or seawater.
In the galvanic series, titanium stands near the noble end alongside stainless steels, typically acting as the cathode when coupled with other metals. Therefore, titanium remains unaffected by galvanic corrosion but can expedite the corrosion of the other metal. When paired with even more noble metals like graphite, it enhances titanium's passivity further.
Grade 2 Titanium Rod from our collection does not exhibit fatigue property degradation in seawater environments. Fatigue endurance limits and *** growth rates stay uniform whether tested in air or seawater.
Our CP2 Grade Titanium Rod is highly weldable with appropriate precautions. Due to its reactivity, an inert gas shield is required on both the OD and ID of the rod. Ensure the material is free from grease or oil contaminants.
Typically, Grade 2 Titanium Rods are welded using manual or automatic TIG welding, with or without filler wire. Employing low heat input minimizes the heat-affected zone, and post-weld heat treatment is generally unnecessary.
