Titanium round bars are one of Daxun Alloy China's most sought-after titanium products. The manufacturing process for Grade 1 Titanium bars is more mechanized than that of blocks and plates, offering a streamlined production experience. Our Grade 1 Titanium bars are available in over forty distinct grades, with Grade 5, Grade 2, and Grade 1 being the most popular. These titanium round bars come in a variety of diameters up to 14 inches. Pure Titanium Grade 1 boasts excellent ductility and cold formability, making it ideal for deep drawing. Renowned for its outstanding general and seawater corrosion resistance, Titanium Grade 1 also stands up to oxidizing, neutral, and mildly reducing environments, such as chloride solutions. Titanium's low density-about half that of nickel-based alloys-coupled with its high strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance, makes it an exceptional choice for various harsh chemical conditions.
DAXUN® Ti Grade 1 is a commercially pure (CP) titanium bar characterized by:
Daxun produces premium-quality titanium bars with superior performance and can also customize production as per customer's requirements:
Daxun conducts rigorous quality assurance tests, including mechanical tests like area tensile, chemical analysis, material positive identification (PMI), micro and macro testing, intergranular corrosion (IGC) testing, ultrasonic flaw detection, pitting and resistance testing, hardness tests, expansion tests, and more. These tests ensure that Grade 2 Titanium Rod and Grade 2 Titanium Round Bar materials meet the required application standards. Throughout production, we carefully measure the diameter, thickness, and surface quality of the product.

AMS 4928 - Bars, Forgings, and Forging Stock (Annealed)
AMS 4965 - Bars, Forgings (Solution Treated and Aged)
AMS 4967 - Bars, Forgings (Annealed, Heat Treatable)
In the solution-treated and aged condition, rapid quenching of small sections yields optimal properties. Larger sections and/or delayed quenching may result in less than optimal properties.
Typical hardness in the annealed condition ranges from Rockwell C 30-34, while in the solution-treated and aged condition, it elevates to Rockwell C 35-39.
The Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy bar is machinable using techniques akin to austenitic stainless steel. Employ slow machining speeds, high feeds, rigid tools, and generous application of non-chlorinated cutting fluids for best results.
The Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy rod boasts excellent weldability in both annealed and solution-aged conditions, with aging achieved during post-weld heat treatment. Safeguard against contamination from oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen. Perform fusion welding in an inert gas-filled chamber or with inert gas shields. Spot, seam, and flash welding are feasible without protective atmospheric conditions.
Contamination risks for the Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 titanium alloy rod include hydrogen from improper pickling and oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon during forging, heat treating, and brazing. Such contamination can compromise ductility and negatively impact notch sensitivity and forming characteristics.
Our bars are produced to meet your exact specifications.
Expect excellent surface quality and straightness, perfect roundness, and exceptionally tight diameter tolerances (according to ISO 286-2 up to h5). Available in straightened, ground, and polished conditions.

Titanium Usage Advisory: Avoid strong reducing acids, fluoride solutions, pure oxygen, or anhydrous ***.
Grade 2 Titanium Corrosion Rates: Demonstrates significant resistance to a wide variety of environments including:
Crevice Corrosion Resistance: No crevice corrosion in temperatures below 80°C (176°F), even under super chlorinated conditions, demonstrating superior performance.
Grade 2 titanium exhibits outstanding resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in hot chloride solutions and remains impervious to SCC in seawater.
Titanium offers exceptional resistance to erosion in flowing environments.
In seawater with velocities up to 130 ft/sec (40 m/sec), titanium shows negligible erosion. Even with abrasive particles like sand, the material's corrosion is only minimally affected.
Titanium does not significantly absorb hydrogen when exposed to seawater, even at elevated temperatures. Typically, hydrogen absorption only happens when these three conditions are met:
Titanium alloys exhibit remarkable immunity to all forms of microbiologically influenced corrosion. While they may biofoul in seawater due to their non-toxicity to marine life, this can be mitigated by chlorination or increasing the water velocity through heat exchangers.
Unlike many other materials, titanium's fatigue performance does not degrade in seawater. Fatigue endurance limits and *** growth rates remain consistent whether tested in air or seawater.
In the galvanic series, titanium is positioned near the noble end, close to stainless steels. It typically acts as the cathode when coupled with other metals, preventing its own corrosion but potentially accelerating the corrosion of the other metal. When coupled with more noble metals like graphite, titanium's passivity is enhanced.
Grade 2 Titanium Rod maintains its fatigue properties even in the presence of seawater. Fatigue endurance limits and *** growth rates are the same whether tested in air or seawater.
CP2 Grade Titanium Rod is highly weldable, provided that necessary precautions are taken. Due to titanium's reactivity, both the OD and ID of the rod must be shielded with inert gas. The material must be free of any grease or oil contamination.
Grade 2 Titanium Rod is usually welded using manual or automatic TIG welding, with or without filler wire. Low heat input should be used to minimize the heat-affected zone size. Post-weld heat treatment is not typically required.
