Hot-finished Titanium Tubes
Our hot-finished titanium tubes are meticulously crafted through hot-rolling or hot-extruding processes. These tubes are then straightened and precisely machined both inside and out, with a polished surface finish. They are available in both heat-treated and non-heat-treated forms, ensuring versatility for various applications. With our advanced 100% ultrasonic flaw detection capabilities, we guarantee the highest quality.
Titanium Tube Materials Available:
Hot-rolled Titanium Tubes: Outer Diameter (OD) ranges from 19mm to 325mm, with a wall thickness of 9mm to 30mm, and lengths up to 5000mm, subject to mutual agreement. Hot-extruded Titanium Tubes: OD ranges from 50mm to 160mm, wall thickness from 7mm to 35mm, and lengths up to 3000mm, also subject to mutual agreement.
Cold-finished Titanium Tubes
Our cold-finished titanium tubes undergo heat treatment, surface etching, and hydrostatic or ultrasonic testing according to manufacturing specifications. These tubes are available in OD ranging from 6mm to 89mm, with wall thickness from 0.5mm to 11mm, and lengths up to 6000mm, subject to mutual agreement.
Titanium Welded Pipes
DaXun specializes in manufacturing and supplying titanium welded pipes with diameters from 12.7mm to 38.1mm (0.47 in to 1.5 in), wall thickness from 0.4mm to 1.65mm (0.016 in to 0.065 in), and lengths up to 25000mm. Our titanium alloy pipes, available in Gr1, Gr2, and Gr12, are perfect for engineering and chemical industries. These pipes are produced using advanced automatic tungsten inert gas (argon) welding and are heat-treated on the production line. Each pipe undergoes rigorous mechanical testing, geometrical measurement, and 100% ultrasonic and eddy current testing, in addition to pneumatic or hydrostatic testing, ensuring compliance with ASTM B 338 and ASME SB 338 standards. Pipes are packed per customer specifications, guaranteeing quality and reliability.
Our titanium tubing is ideal for aircraft applications where high strength and low weight are crucial. Specifically, Ti-3Al-2.5V tubes are preferred due to their superior malleability compared to Ti-6-4, making them perfect for hydraulic systems. These tubes can be cold-worked or supplied in an annealed condition. Additionally, they are great for making bicycle and wheelchair frames.

Titanium Grade 9, often referred to as 'half 6-4', is a high-performance alloy consisting of 3% aluminum and 2.5% vanadium. This composition brings an impressive 20% to 50% increase in mechanical strength when compared to other titanium grades.commercially pure (CP)titanium grades. Notably, it is more formable and weldable than Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5), making it a versatile and user-friendly option for various applications.
Titanium Grade 18 (UNS R56322) mirrors Grade 9 in nearly every aspect, with the notable addition of 0.04 - 0.08% palladium to enhance corrosion resistance. Both grades boast a density of 4.48 g/cc, which is less than 60% of that of steel.
This material excels in providing robust corrosion resistance across oxidizing, neutral, and mildly reducing environments, including chlorides. With added palladium, Titanium Grade 18 offers even superior resistance. It withstands oxidation up to 600°F (316°C) efficiently.
