GENERAL PROPERTIES
- The 304/304L Stainless Steel Rod alloy from Jiangsu Daxun Alloy Co., Ltd. is an enhanced version of standard 304/304L. It has been specially treated to improve machinability and uniformity, resulting in faster machining speeds, extended tool life, superior part quality, and reduced overall costs of machined parts. While this alloy is non-magnetic when annealed, it may become slightly magnetic after processes like cold working or welding.

CORROSION RESISTANCE:
- DAXUN 304/304L Stainless Steel Bar is a highly adaptable general-purpose stainless steel, providing excellent resistance to atmospheric corrosion, a variety of organic and inorganic chemicals, as well as food and beverage-related corrosion.
- This stainless steel is also ideal for vacuum processing equipment and specialized instruments where maintaining high integrity is essential.
HEAT RESISTANCE:
- Exhibits good oxidation resistance with intermittent use up to 1600°F and continuous use up to 1690°F.
However, continuous use of the 304 round bar in the range of 800-1580°F is not advisable if subsequent resistance to aqueous corrosion is necessary.
WELDING CHARACTERISTICS:
- Easily weldable using a comprehensive range of conventional welding procedures, with the exception of oxyacetylene.
- For welding with Prodec 304/304L steel, AWS E308L/ER308L filler metal should be utilized.
MACHINABILITY:
- Delivers enhanced machining speeds, longer tool life, improved part quality, and reduced total cost of machined components.
