Corrosion Resistance
Crafted for resilience, the 410 stainless steel demonstrates exceptional resistance to dry air, fresh water, mild bases, acids, foods, steam, and hot gases.
For unparalleled heat and corrosion resistance, 410 stainless steel must be hardened. Optimal performance is achieved when the surface is smooth.
Heat Resistance
Boasting good resistance to scaling up to approximately 650°C, 410 stainless steel is, however, not generally recommended for use between 400 and 580°C due to reduced mechanical properties.
Heat Treatment
For full annealing, heat to 815-900°C, then execute a slow furnace cool to 600°C, followed by air cooling.
Process annealing involves heating to 650-760°C and then air cooling.
Welding
410 stainless steel can be effortlessly welded using all standard techniques. Preheating to 150-260°C and post-weld annealing are essential to minimize the risk of cracking.

Each stainless steel sheet's finished side is coated with a protective film, easily removable post-fabrication or installation to maintain the pristine surface. The back side remains unfinished.
