Titanium round bars are one of Daxun Alloy China's premium titanium products, showcasing the company's advanced manufacturing capabilities. The production process for Grade 1 Titanium bars is highly mechanized compared to blocks and plates, ensuring consistent quality. Available in over forty distinct grades, including the popular Grade 5, Grade 2, and Grade 1, our titanium round bars come in various diameters up to 14 inches. Pure Titanium Grade 1, known for its excellent ductility and cold formability, is ideal for deep drawing applications. It boasts outstanding general and seawater corrosion resistance, excelling in oxidizing, neutral, and mildly reducing environments such as chlorides. With its low density (approximately half that of nickel-based alloys), high strength-to-weight ratio, and superior corrosion resistance, Titanium Grade 1 is the material of choice for numerous challenging chemical conditions.
DAXUN® Ti Grade 1 is a commercially pure (CP) titanium bar with the following exceptional characteristics:
Daxun produces high-quality titanium bars with exceptional performance and can customize manufacturing according to customer specifications:
Daxun conducts rigorous quality assurance tests, including mechanical tests like area tensile, chemical analysis, material positive identification (PMI test), micro and macro testing, intergranular corrosion (IGC) test, ultrasonic flaw detection, pitting and resistance tests, hardness test, and expansion test. These tests ensure that the Grade 2 Titanium Rod and Grade 2 Titanium Round Bar materials meet the required application standards. During production, we accurately measure diameter, thickness, and surface quality.

Grade 5 Titanium Rod
Daxun State-of-the-Art Grade 5 Titanium Bars: Our cutting-edge production facility in China delivers high-precision Grade 5 titanium bars. Enjoy technological leadership, excellent surface quality, tight tolerances, and consistent production processes across a variety of diameters and materials. Our extensive stock program ensures just-in-time delivery.
AMS 4928 - Bars, Forgings, and Forging Stock (Annealed): This specification covers the requirements for annealed bars, forgings, and forging stock.
AMS 4965 - Bars, Forgings (Solution Treated and Aged): This specification details the standards for solution treated and aged bars and forgings.
AMS 4967 - Bars, Forgings (Annealed, Heat Treatable): This specification outlines the requirements for annealed and heat-treatable bars and forgings.
Optimized Properties through Rapid Quenching: In the solution treated and aged condition, rapid quenching of small sections yields optimum properties. Larger sections and/or delayed quenching may result in less than optimum properties.
Enhanced Hardness Levels: Typical hardness in the annealed condition is Rockwell C 30-34, while in the solution and aged condition, it ranges from Rockwell C 35-39.
The Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy bar can be machined effectively using austenitic stainless steel machining techniques. For optimal results, employ slow machining speeds, high feed rates, and robust tooling alongside copious amounts of non-chlorinated cutting fluids.
The Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy rod is easily weldable in both its annealed condition and its solution and partially aged condition, with the aging process completed during post-weld heat treatment. To ensure quality, precautions are necessary to avoid contamination from oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen. Fusion welding can be conducted within an inert gas-filled chamber or with inert gas shielding to protect the molten metal and adjacent heated zones. Additionally, spot, seam, and flash welding can be performed without the need for a protective atmosphere.
Be aware that the Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 titanium alloy rod is susceptible to contamination from hydrogen during improper pickling processes, and from oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon during forging, heat treating, and brazing operations. Such contamination can lead to a reduction in ductility, negatively impacting notch sensitivity and forming characteristics.
We manufacture bars tailored to your specific requirements.
Our bars boast excellent surface quality and straightness, with perfect roundness and the tightest diameter tolerances (up to h5 as per ISO 286-2). Available in straightened, ground, and polished conditions.

Titanium is not recommended for use with strong reducing acids, fluoride solutions, pure oxygen, or anhydrous ***.
General corrosion rates for Grade 2 titanium in various media are provided in Table 1. CP titanium offers excellent corrosion resistance in a wide array of environments, including:
CP titanium shows robust resistance to crevice corrosion in salt solutions, outperforming stainless steels. It remains free from crevice corrosion at temperatures below 80 °C (176°F), regardless of pH levels, even in highly chlorinated conditions.
Grade 2 titanium exhibits outstanding resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in hot chloride solutions and is immune to SCC in seawater.
Titanium demonstrates excellent resistance to erosion in flowing conditions.
Seawater with velocities up to 130 ft/sec (40 m/sec) demonstrates negligible impact on this material. Even the presence of abrasive particles, such as sand, only minimally affects corrosion resistance.
Titanium exhibits no significant absorption of hydrogen when exposed to seawater, even at elevated temperatures. Hydrogen absorption typically occurs only under the following conditions:
Titanium alloys exhibit a unique immunity to all forms of microbiologically influenced corrosion. Biofouling can occur in seawater due to the non-toxic nature of titanium alloys towards marine organisms. This can be minimized by chlorination or increasing water velocity through the heat exchanger.
Titanium, unlike many other materials, maintains its fatigue performance in seawater. Fatigue endurance limits and fatigue *** growth rates remain unchanged whether tested in air or seawater.
In the galvanic series, titanium is positioned towards the noble end, near stainless steels, and typically acts as the cathode when coupled with other metals, thus not suffering galvanic corrosion. However, it can accelerate corrosion of the other metal. Coupling with more noble metals, such as graphite, further enhances titanium's passivity.
Grade 2 Titanium Rod does not experience a reduction in fatigue properties when in contact with seawater. Both fatigue endurance limits and *** growth rates remain consistent whether tested in air or seawater.
CP2 Grade Titanium Rod is highly weldable when proper precautions are taken. Due to titanium's reactivity, an inert gas shield must be applied to both the OD and ID of the rod. The material must also be free from any grease or oil contaminants.
Grade 2 Titanium Rod typically undergoes manual or automatic TIG welding, with or without filler wire. Low heat input is recommended to minimize the heat-affected zone. Post-weld heat treatment is generally unnecessary for Titanium Rod.
