DAXUN proudly produces and stocks commercially pure titanium plates Grade 2 (UNS R50400), with thicknesses ranging from 0.5mm to 120mm. This Grade 2 Titanium Plate, renowned as the 'workhorse' of the commercially pure titanium family, delivers an exceptional blend of high strength, ductility, and unparalleled corrosion resistance, making it indispensable for a multitude of industrial applications.
Grade 2 Titanium Plate stands out as a commercially pure titanium plate, offering an exceptional balance between strength and ductility. Boasting impressive impact strength and weldability, it demonstrates excellent corrosion resistance in highly oxidizing environments, alkaline media, brine solutions, weakly reducing environments, and wet ***. Its superior resistance extends to seawater and salt solutions, making it highly versatile.
With its low density, high strength-to-weight ratio, and outstanding corrosion resistance, titanium is the material of choice for a wide array of applications. It effectively resists stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion in chloride solutions below 70°C. Boasting a melting point of 1660°C, Grade 2 Titanium Plate is the preferred alloy for demanding industrial applications requiring excellent ductility and corrosion resistance.
Grade 2 titanium plate's lower density makes it ideal for weight-sensitive applications. Key industries include medical, chemical equipment, and aerospace. Its strength and corrosion resistance also make it perfect for marine, chemical processing, and desalination industries. Common applications involve oil and gas components, reaction and pressure vessels, piping systems, power, heat exchangers, linings, flue gas desulfurization systems, and other industrial components. Common standards: ASTM B265, ASTM F67, AMS4911, AMS4928, AMS4943, AMS4944, AMS4945, AMS4967, AMS4972.
At Daxun, we conduct rigorous quality assurance tests, including flattening tests, pitting and resistance tests, mechanical tests, hardness tests, material positive identification, and expansion tests. These tests ensure the material's suitability for intended applications. During production, we meticulously measure the product's diameter, thickness, and surface. Our standard delivery time is 5-7 days, with special sizes delivered in 15-20 days.
Titanium Grade 2 Plates are available in cold-rolled thicknesses from 0.3 mm to 6.0 mm, and in hot-rolled or heat-treated conditions from 4.76 mm to 155 mm. Produced by longitudinal and transverse rolling, these plates can undergo creep flattening heat treatment to relieve internal stresses and meet special flatness requirements. Plates can be supplied in cut blank form, with further processing tailored to customer requirements, whether mechanical or chemical.
