As a preeminent titanium alloy tube manufacturer in China, Daxun Alloy is esteemed globally for delivering top-quality Grade 5 titanium pipes, recognized and lauded across numerous projects.
Ti 6Al-4V (Grade 5 Titanium) dominates the titanium alloy market, representing over half the global titanium usage. Typically annealed, it operates at temperatures up to 400°C (750°F) and is welded with matching or ELI filler wire. Compared to commercial pure titanium, Ti 6Al/4V offers superior strength, rigidity, and thermal properties, albeit with 60% lower thermal conductivity. Its heat treatability further enhances strength and performance, complemented by exceptional formability, low density, and superb corrosion resistance.
This grade is the quintessential embodiment of strength, corrosion resistance, weldability, and machinability, making it indispensable in a variety of high-stakes applications. Its exceptional properties are leveraged in military and aviation sectors, including military aircraft, rocket components, precision-guided systems, armor parts, naval equipment, and military vacuum instruments. Additionally, the closely related 6-4ELI variant finds its place in surgical implants due to its superior biocompatibility. Ideal for applications up to 400°C, it enhances ductility and toughness, especially in cold working conditions, and boasts remarkable specific strength. Typically provided in the annealed state, this alloy is easily heat-treatable to enhance its strength for diverse applications. As a versatile and extensively commercialized titanium alloy, the Ti 6Al-4V titanium seamless tube excels at temperatures ranging from -210°C to 400°C. It seamlessly marries high strength and toughness with excellent weldability and processability.

INTRODUCTION
- DAXUN Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 Alloy Tube (UNS R56400) stands as the most renowned titanium alloy in the industry. This sophisticated duplex alpha+beta titanium alloy incorporates aluminum as an alpha stabilizer and vanadium as a beta stabilizer, ensuring high strength even at cryogenic temperatures around 800°F (427°C). ATI Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 is perfect for annealing, solution treatment, and aging processes. Widely used in jet engine compressor blades, discs, and rings; fuselage and space capsule components; pressure containers; *** cases; helicopter rotor hubs; fasteners; and critical forgings, this alloy boasts an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio.
- The alloy's initial melting is achieved using vacuum arc (VAR), electron beam (EB), or plasma arc hearth melting (PAM) techniques. Subsequent remelting processes involve one or two vacuum arc steps to achieve superior quality.
