310S Stainless Steel Coil is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel renowned for its exceptional resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and high temperatures. This high-temperature chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel boasts excellent creep strength and oxidation resistance up to 2000˚F in dry air. Type 310S forms a robust oxide scale at elevated temperatures and resists spalling, outperforming Type 309 in thermal cycling applications. In mildly carburizing environments, Type 310 excels in resisting sulfidation and carburization. As a low-carbon variant, Type 310S is more malleable and easier to weld. When annealed and cold wrought, Type 310S remains nonmagnetic and offers superior corrosion resistance compared to Type 304/304L.
