GENERAL PROPERTIES

• 310 Stainless Steel Tube is an austenitic stainless steel known for its remarkable high temperature properties, ductility, and weldability. RESISTANCE

CORROSION RESISTANCE

• The high chromium content ensures good aqueous corrosion resistance

HEAT RESISTANCE

• Exhibits good oxidation resistance in intermittent service in air at temperatures up to 1040°C and 1150°C in continuous service.
• Displays good resistance to thermal fatigue and cyclic heating.
• Widely used where *** dioxide gas is encountered at elevated temperatures.
• Continuous use in the 425-860°C range is not recommended due to carbide precipitation, if subsequent aqueous corrosion resistance is required
• Typically used at temperatures starting from about 800 or 900°C, above the effective range of 304H and 321.

• Frequently fabricated into complex structures
