Hot-finished Titanium Tubes
These tubes are meticulously crafted, offered as hot-rolled or hot-extruded, and further refined through precision machining of internal and external diameters. The surfaces are polished to perfection. Available in both heat-treated and non-heat-treated forms, our titanium tubes undergo 100% ultrasonic flaw detection to ensure unmatched quality and reliability.
Titanium Tube Materials Available:
Hot-rolled Titanium Tubes: Featuring an outer diameter ranging from 19mm to 325mm, wall thickness between 9mm to 30mm, and lengths up to 5000mm, customizable based on manufacturer and customer agreement. Hot-extruded Titanium Tubes: Offering an outer diameter from 50mm to 160mm, wall thickness from 7mm to 35mm, and lengths up to 3000mm, also customizable based on specific agreements.
Cold-finished Titanium Tubes
Cold-finished Titanium Tubes are available heat-treated, surface-etched, and rigorously tested either hydrostatically or ultrasonically, conforming to exacting manufacturing specifications. Tubes Supplied: OD from 6mm to 89mm, wall thickness from 0.5mm to 11mm, with lengths up to 6000mm, adjustable as per manufacturer and customer agreement.
Titanium Welded Pipes
DaXun manufactures premium titanium pipes with diameters from 12.7mm to 38.1mm (0.47in to 1.5in), wall thickness from 0.4mm to 1.65mm (0.016in to 0.065in), and lengths up to 25000mm. These pipes are fabricated for engineering and chemical industries using Gr1, Gr2, and Gr12 titanium alloys. Titanium welded pipes are produced from flat rolled material through automated tungsten inert gas (argon) welding and heat-treated inline. They undergo comprehensive mechanical testing, geometric measurement, 100% ultrasonic and eddy current testing, as well as pneumatic or hydrostatic testing. Packaging is tailored to customer specifications, ensuring compliance with ASTM B 338 and ASME SB 338 standards.
Our titanium tubes are integral in aircraft applications where high strength yet low weight is essential. Ti-3Al-2.5V excels in malleability over Ti-6-4, making it ideal for hydraulic systems. Additionally applicable in bicycle and wheelchair frames, Ti-3Al-2.5V tubing can be cold-worked by standard processes or delivered in annealed condition, offering versatility and reliability.

Titanium Grade 9, often known as 'half 6-4,' is an exceptional alloy combining titanium with 3% aluminum and 2.5% vanadium. This composition delivers a remarkable 20 to 50% increase in mechanical strength over the commercially pure grades, while still offering enhanced formability and weldability compared to Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5).commercially pure (CP)titanium grades, boasting superior formability and weldability over Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5).
Titanium Grade 18 (UNS R56322) is fundamentally identical to Grade 9, except for an added 0.04 - 0.08% palladium which significantly boosts its corrosion resistance. Both Grades 9 and 18 have a density of 4.48 g/cc, which is under 60% of that of steel, making them remarkably lightweight yet strong.
This alloy offers commendable corrosion resistance across oxidizing, neutral, and mildly reducing environments, including chloride exposure. The addition of palladium in Titanium Grade 18 further enhances its corrosion resistance. It withstands oxidation effectively up to temperatures of 600°F (316°C).
