DAXUN proudly produces and maintains a vast inventory of Grade 2 (UNS R50400) commercially pure titanium plates, available in thicknesses from 0.5mm to 120mm. Renowned as the 'workhorse' of the commercially pure titanium family, Grade 2 Titanium Plate offers a remarkable blend of high strength, ductility, and outstanding corrosion resistance, making it perfect for a wide array of industrial applications.
Grade 2 Titanium Plate is a standout choice among commercially pure titanium plates. It strikes an optimal balance between strength and ductility, boasting excellent impact strength and weldability. Highly resistant to corrosion in oxidizing environments, alkaline media, brine solutions, weakly reducing environments, and wet ***, it also excels in resisting seawater and salt solutions.
With low density, an impressive strength-to-weight ratio, and excellent corrosion resistance, Grade 2 Titanium Plate is ideal for diverse applications. It effectively resists stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion in chloride solutions below 70°C. Featuring a melting point of 1660°C, Grade 2 Titanium Plate is the preferred alloy for most industrial applications requiring superior ductility and corrosion resistance.
Grade 2 titanium plate's lower density makes it perfect for weight-sensitive applications. It is highly valued in medical, chemical equipment, and aerospace industries. Its strength and corrosion resistance also make it ideal for marine, chemical processing, and desalination applications. Typical uses include oil and gas components, reaction and pressure vessels, piping systems, power, heat exchangers, linings, flue gas desulfurization systems, and numerous other industrial components. Common standards: ASTM B265, ASTM F67, AMS4911, AMS4928, AMS4943, AMS4944, AMS4945, AMS4967, AMS4972.
At Daxun, we carry out extensive quality assurance tests including flattening, pitting and resistance, mechanical, hardness, material positive identification, and expansion tests. These rigorous evaluations ensure the material meets all application requirements. During production, we meticulously measure diameter, thickness, and surface. Standard delivery is 5-7 days, with special sizes delivered in 15-20 days.
Titanium Grade 2 Plates are available in cold-rolled thicknesses from 0.3 mm to 6.0 mm and hot-rolled thicknesses from 4.76 mm to 155 mm. These plates, supplied in hot-rolled or heat-treated conditions, are produced through longitudinal and transverse rolling. Where needed, creep flattening can be applied as a heat treatment to relieve internal stresses and meet specific flatness requirements. Plates can also be supplied in cut blank form, allowing for complex shapes to be cut from a parent plate. Further processing, whether mechanical or chemical, depends on customer requirements.
