Unmatched Corrosion Resistance
The 410 steel plate boasts impressive resistance against dry air, fresh water, mild bases and acids, as well as foods, steam, and hot gases.
To achieve peak heat and corrosion resistance, the plate must be hardened. Optimal performance is realized with a smooth finish.
Superior Heat Resistance
Exhibits excellent scaling resistance up to about 650°C. However, it is generally not recommended for use between 400 and 580°C due to reduced mechanical properties at these temperatures.
Precision Heat Treatment Processes
For full annealing, heat to 815-900°C, then slow furnace cool to 600°C before allowing it to air cool.
Process annealing is achieved at 650-760°C followed by air cooling.
Reliable Welding Capabilities
Easily welded using all standard methods. Preheating to 150-260°C and post-weld annealing are required to minimize the risk of cracking.
