Ti 6Al-4V (Grade 5 Titanium) is the most extensively utilized titanium alloy, representing over 50% of titanium consumption. Typically used in the annealed state, it operates up to 400°C (750°F) and can be welded with matching or ELI filler wire. Compared to commercially pure titanium tubes, Ti 6Al-4V offers significantly higher strength, better stiffness, and superior thermal properties (excluding thermal conductivity). The thermal conductivity of Grade 5 titanium tube is about 60% lower than CP titanium. It can be heat-treated for enhanced strength and performance, boasting strong formability, low density, and excellent corrosion resistance.
This grade offers an ideal blend of strength, corrosion resistance, weldability, and machinability, making it highly suitable for military aircraft, aviation industry, rocket parts, precision-guided components, armor parts, ship equipment, military vacuum equipment, and more. The 6-4, 6-4ELI variant is also used in surgical implants. Operating within a temperature range of -210°C to 400°C, it features excellent specific strength and is typically provided in the annealed state. These tubes are straightened, precisely machined for both inside and outside diameters, and surface-polished to perfection. Available in both heat-treated and non-heat-treated forms, our tubes undergo rigorous 100% ultrasonic flaw detection to ensure impeccable quality.

Titanium Welded Pipes
DaXun manufactures premium titanium pipes with diameters ranging from 12.7 mm to 38.1 mm (0.47 in to 1.5 in), wall thicknesses from 0.4 mm to 1.65 mm (0.016 in to 0.065 in), and lengths up to 25000 mm. Our Gr1, Gr2, and Gr12 titanium alloy pipes are ideal for engineering and chemical industries. Utilizing flat rolled raw material (kelp), our welded pipes are crafted through automatic tungsten inert gas (argon) welding on electric pipe welders and heat treated on the mill line. We ensure top quality with comprehensive mechanical testing, geometrical measurements, 100% ultrasonic and eddy current testing, and pneumatic or hydrostatic testing. Pipes are meticulously packed per customer specifications to comply with ASTM B 338 and ASME SB 338 standards.
