DaXun's titanium pipes are expertly crafted with diameters ranging from 12.7 mm to 38.1 mm (0.47 in to 1.5 in) and wall thickness from 0.4 to 1.65 mm (0.016 in to 0.065 in), extending lengths up to 25000 mm. We supply electrical Gr1, Gr2, and Gr12 titanium alloy pipes tailored for the engineering and chemical industries. Crafted from flat rolled raw material, these pipes undergo automatic tungsten inert gas (argon) welding and in-line heat treatment. Machinability

Grade 12 Ti 0.3 Mo 0.8 Ni alloy can be precisely machined using low speeds, an optimal quantity of coolant flow, and high feed rates. For best results, high-speed tools are recommended, specifically tungsten carbide tools designated C1-C4 or cobalt-based tools.

Forming

Grade 12 Ti 0.3 Mo 0.8 Ni alloy offers excellent formability and can be either hot or cold formed depending on the requirements.

Welding

The weldability of Grade 12 Ti 0.3 Mo 0.8 Ni alloy is regarded as exceptional, making it ideal for various applications.

Annealing

To anneal Grade 12 Ti 0.3 Mo 0.8 Ni alloy, the material should be heated to a temperature range of 732-816°C (1350-1500°F), held for 2 hours, and then air-cooled. For intermediate stress relieving, heat the material to 538-649°C (1000-1200°F) and hold for 1 hour followed by air cooling.

Forging

Rough forging of this alloy can start at 871°C (1600°F) and should be completed at temperatures between 788-843°C (1450-1550°F).

Hot Working

Hot working significantly enhances the overall ductility and mechanical properties of the material.

Cold Working

Cold working features of this alloy are comparable to those of austenitic stainless steel. Post-work annealing is recommended to restore excellent performance properties.
