These exceptional tubes are available in hot-rolled or hot-extruded forms. Each tube is meticulously straightened, with precisely machined inside and outside diameters, and polished to perfection. Titanium tubes are offered in both heat-treated and non-heat-treated variants. Leveraging advanced technology, our company ensures 100% ultrasonic flaw detection for unmatched quality.
Titanium Tube Materials Available:
Hot-rolled Titanium Tubes: OD ranges from 19mm to 325mm, with wall thickness options from 9mm to 30mm and lengths extending up to 5000mm (negotiable per manufacturer and customer agreement). Hot-extruded Titanium Tubes: OD spans 50mm to 160mm, wall thickness from 7mm to 35mm, and lengths reaching up to 3000mm (subject to mutual agreement).
Refined Cold-finished Titanium Tubes
Cold-finished Titanium Tubes are presented heat-treated, surface-etched, and rigorously tested hydrostatically or ultrasonically. These tubes are tailored to specific manufacturing specifications, with options including OD 6mm to 89mm, wall thickness from 0.5mm to 11mm, and lengths up to 6000mm (adjusted based on customer-manufacturer agreements).
Superior Titanium Welded Pipes
DaXun's titanium pipes are expertly crafted with diameters ranging from 12.7 mm to 38.1 mm (0.47 in to 1.5 in) and wall thickness from 0.4 to 1.65 mm (0.016 in to 0.065 in), extending lengths up to 25000 mm. We supply electrical Gr1, Gr2, and Gr12 titanium alloy pipes tailored for the engineering and chemical industries. Crafted from flat rolled raw material, these pipes undergo automatic tungsten inert gas (argon) welding and in-line heat treatment. Comprehensive testing-including mechanical, geometrical, 100% ultrasonic and eddy current, and either pneumatic or hydrostatic testing-ensures compliance with ASTM B 338, ASME SB 338 standards. Grade 12 Ti 0.3 Mo 0.8 Ni alloy can be precisely machined using low speeds, an optimal quantity of coolant flow, and high feed rates. For best results, high-speed tools are recommended, specifically tungsten carbide tools designated C1-C4 or cobalt-based tools.
Grade 12 Ti 0.3 Mo 0.8 Ni alloy offers excellent formability and can be either hot or cold formed depending on the requirements.
The weldability of Grade 12 Ti 0.3 Mo 0.8 Ni alloy is regarded as exceptional, making it ideal for various applications.
To anneal Grade 12 Ti 0.3 Mo 0.8 Ni alloy, the material should be heated to a temperature range of 732-816°C (1350-1500°F), held for 2 hours, and then air-cooled. For intermediate stress relieving, heat the material to 538-649°C (1000-1200°F) and hold for 1 hour followed by air cooling.
Rough forging of this alloy can start at 871°C (1600°F) and should be completed at temperatures between 788-843°C (1450-1550°F).
Hot working significantly enhances the overall ductility and mechanical properties of the material.
Cold working features of this alloy are comparable to those of austenitic stainless steel. Post-work annealing is recommended to restore excellent performance properties.
