Grade 5 titanium tubes excel in multiple industries, especially under harsh corrosive environments:
At Daxun, rigorous quality assurance tests are paramount. These include flattening tests, flaring tests, ultrasonic flaw detection, pitting and resistance tests, mechanical tests, hardness tests, material positive identification, and expansion tests. These ensure that Grade 1 Titanium Welded and Seamless Pipes meet all application requirements. We meticulously measure diameter, thickness, and surface during production. Our standard delivery is 5-7 days, with special sizes taking 15-20 days.
Ti-6Al4V Grade 5 Titanium Alloy Tubes are the most commercially sought-after due to their high strength and toughness. They offer excellent welding and processing capabilities:
We stock a variety of Grade 5 Titanium Alloy Tubes including Seamless, Forged Seamless, and Welded Tubes.
Daxun Alloy, a premier titanium tube manufacturer and supplier in China, delivers top-tier Grade 5 titanium pipes globally, garnering acclaim from numerous high-profile projects.
Ti 6Al-4V (Grade 5 Titanium) is the most prevalent titanium alloy tube, constituting over 50% of titanium usage. Typically utilized in the annealed state, it can operate up to 400°C (750°F). Welded with matching or ELI filler wire, Ti 6Al/4V outperforms commercial pure titanium tubes with higher strength, superior stiffness, and better thermal properties (excluding thermal conductivity). The thermal conductivity of Grade 5 titanium is about 60% lower than CP titanium. It can be heat-treated for enhanced strength and performance. This alloy boasts strong formability, low density, and exceptional corrosion resistance, making it an ideal choice for seamless tubes.
This exceptional grade seamlessly blends strength, corrosion resistance, weldability, and machinability, making it indispensable for military aircraft, the aviation industry, rocket parts, precision-guided components, armor parts, ship equipment, military vacuum equipment, and more. A close counterpart, Grade 6-4ELI, is extensively used in surgical implants. With remarkable ductility and toughness at temperatures up to 400°C, it excels in cold working conditions and offers superb specific strength. Provided usually in an annealed state, it can be heat-treated effortlessly to enhance strength for diverse applications. As a versatile titanium alloy, the Ti 6Al-4V titanium seamless tube boasts a myriad of favorable properties, performing excellently in temperatures ranging from -210°C to 400°C. Grade 5 titanium alloy tube stands out as the most commercialized titanium alloy, renowned for its high strength, toughness, and excellent welding and processing characteristics.
