Titanium Welded Pipes
DaXun manufactures high-quality titanium pipes with diameters from 12.7 mm to 38.1 mm (0.47 in to 1.5 in), wall thickness from 0.4 to 1.65 mm (0.016 in to 0.065 in), and lengths up to 25,000 mm. We specialize in Gr1, Gr2, and Gr12 titanium alloy pipes for engineering and chemical industries. These pipes are produced using flat rolled raw materials via automatic tungsten inert gas (argon) welding on electric pipe welders, followed by heat treatment on the mill line. Each finished pipe undergoes mechanical testing, geometric measurements, and comprehensive testing-ultrasonic, eddy current, pneumatic, or hydrostatic testing-as well as customer-specific packing. Our manufacturing and inspection processes ensure compliance with ASTM B 338, ASME SB 338 standards.

Titanium Grade 9, often referred to as 'half 6-4', is a specialized alloy comprising 3% aluminum and 2.5% vanadium. This exceptional combination delivers 20 to 50% greater mechanical strength compared tocommercially pure (CP)titanium grades, while being more formable and weldable than Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5).
Titanium Grade 18 (UNS R56322) mirrors Grade 9 in every aspect except for the added 0.04 - 0.08% palladium, which boosts its corrosion resistance. Both Titanium Grades 9 and 18 have a density of 4.48 g/cc, making them significantly lighter than steel at less than 60% of its weight.
This advanced material provides excellent corrosion resistance in oxidizing, neutral, and mildly reducing environments, including chlorides. Titanium Grade 18, enhanced with palladium, offers superior corrosion resistance and can withstand oxidation up to 600°F (316°C).
