The 317L Stainless Steel Pipe is a molybdenum-enriched, low-carbon austenitic stainless steel. Enhanced with additional chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, it boasts superior corrosion and chemical resistance, ideal for combating sulfite, acetic, formic, citric, and tartaric acids. Its low carbon content inhibits sensitization during welding, offering remarkable creep, stress rupture, and tensile strength at high temperatures. While nonmagnetic in its annealed state, slight magnetism may develop post-welding.
The versatile 317L seamless pipe excels in sulfur handling, pulp liquors, acid dyes, acetylation and nitration mixtures, bleaching solutions, heavy coal and petroleum applications, and various chemicals. It is also utilized in the following industries:
