The Gr5 (grade 5) Ti-6Al-4V titanium plate is a top-tier titanium alloy plate containing 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium. As an α-β type titanium alloy, aluminum stabilizes the α phase while vanadium stabilizes the β phase. Gr5 Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy plates boast superior comprehensive performance and process capabilities, including excellent room and high-temperature strength, good creep resistance, and thermal stability. They also offer high fatigue performance, *** growth resistance in seawater, satisfactory fracture toughness, and hot salt stress corrosion performance. Corrosion Resistance

Gr1, Gr2, Gr3, and Gr4 titanium plates exhibit superior resistance to seawater and marine atmospheric corrosion. Although the four C.P. grades share similar corrosion resistance, their mechanical properties differ due to varying oxygen and iron contents. These titanium plates are highly resilient against attacks by wet chlorides and metal chlorides, chlorite and hypochlorite solutions, nitric and chromic acids, organic acids, and numerous industrial gases.
