Jiangsu Daxun Alloy Co., Ltd. excels in the production and stock of consistently high-quality Grade 2 Titanium Plates (UNS R50400), available in a wide range of thicknesses from 0.5mm to 120mm. This versatile alloy, known as the 'workhorse' of the commercially pure titanium family, boasts a unique combination of high strength, exceptional ductility, and outstanding corrosion resistance, making it indispensable for numerous industrial applications.
Our Grade 2 Titanium Plate stands out as a commercially pure titanium marvel, striking a perfect balance between strength and ductility. Its notable impact strength and excellent weldability, combined with superior corrosion resistance in highly oxidizing environments, alkaline media, brine solutions, weakly reducing environments, and wet ***, make it highly reliable. Additionally, it offers remarkable resistance to seawater and salt solutions.
Engineered for excellence, titanium's low density, impressive strength-to-weight ratio, and corrosion resistance make it an exceptional material for a vast array of applications. It effectively combats stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion in chloride solutions up to 70°C. With a melting point of 1660°C, our Grade 2 Titanium Plate is the preferred alloy for industrial uses demanding superior ductility and corrosion resistance.
Grade 2 Titanium Plate offers a lower density, making it ideal for weight-sensitive applications. Key industries harnessing this material include medical, chemical equipment, aerospace, marine, chemical processing, and desalination. Its impressive strength and corrosion resistance make it indispensable for oil and gas components, reaction and pressure vessels, piping systems, power generation, heat exchangers, linings, and flue gas desulfurization systems. Common standards adhered to include ASTM B265, ASTM F67, AMS4911, AMS4928, AMS4943, AMS4944, AMS4945, AMS4967, and AMS4972.
At Daxun, we prioritize rigorous quality assurance through a comprehensive suite of tests, including flattening, pitting and resistance, mechanical, hardness, material positive identification, and expansion tests. These ensure that our materials meet precise application requirements. Throughout production, we meticulously measure product diameter, thickness, and surface. We guarantee a standard delivery time of 5-7 days, with special size products requiring 15-20 days.
Our Titanium Grade 2 Plates are precision-engineered and available in cold-rolled thicknesses from 0.3 mm to 6.0 mm, and hot-rolled thicknesses from 4.76 mm to 155 mm. Supplied either hot rolled or heat treated, the plates undergo longitudinal and transverse rolling. If needed, creep flattening is employed as a heat treatment to alleviate internal stresses and achieve specific flatness requirements. Plates can be provided in cut blank form, tailored to complex shapes as per customer requirements, with further processing options either mechanical or chemical.
