Grade 5 Titanium Tubes are widely employed in various demanding industries, especially under extreme corrosive conditions:
At Daxun, we adhere to rigorous quality assurance protocols, including flattening tests, flaring tests, ultrasonic flaw detection, pitting and resistance tests, mechanical tests, hardness tests, material positive identification, and expansion tests. These comprehensive evaluations ensure that both Grade 1 Titanium Welded Pipes and Grade 1 Titanium Seamless Pipes meet application requirements. Measurements of diameter, thickness, and surface are meticulously taken during production. Our standard delivery timeline is 5-7 days, with 15-20 days for special size products.
The Ti-6Al4V Grade 5 Titanium Alloy Tube is the most commercially available among titanium alloys, offering a superb combination of high strength and toughness. It also boasts excellent welding and processing characteristics:
Our inventory includes Grade 5 Titanium Alloy Seamless Tubes, Forged Seamless Tubes, and Welded Tubes.
As a premier titanium alloy tube manufacturer and supplier in China, Daxun Alloy delivers top-quality Grade 5 titanium pipes globally, earning accolades from numerous projects.
Ti 6Al-4V (Grade 5 Titanium) is the most extensively utilized titanium alloy, comprising over 50% of total titanium usage. Typically used in the annealed state, it operates up to temperatures of 400°C (750°F). Ti 6Al/4V is welded using matching or ELI filler wire and offers significantly higher strength compared to commercially pure titanium tubes. Additionally, it boasts enhanced stiffness and thermal properties (excluding thermal conductivity), with thermal conductivity about 60% lower than CP titanium. Its many advantages include heat treatability, providing optimal strength and performance. Grade 5 Titanium Seamless Tubes also offer excellent formability, low density, and superior corrosion resistance.
This exceptional grade seamlessly combines strength, superior corrosion resistance, weldability, and machinability, making it indispensable across various high-stakes industries. Its applications span military aircraft, the aviation sector, rocket components, precision-guided devices, armor plating, marine equipment, and military vacuum apparatus, among others. The closely related grade, 6-4ELI, finds use in surgical implants due to its refined properties. Typically employed in environments up to 400°C, this alloy enhances ductility and toughness, even in cold working conditions, while maintaining excellent specific strength. Supplied predominantly in an annealed state, it can be heat-treated to bolster strength for diverse applications. As a versatile titanium alloy, the Ti 6Al-4V seamless tube stands out for its remarkable properties at temperatures ranging from -210°C to 400°C. Grade 5 titanium alloy tube is the most commercialized among all titanium alloys, celebrated for its high strength, toughness, and exemplary welding and processing characteristics.

Titanium Seamless Tubes
Daxun produces:
Hot-finished Titanium Tubes
These premium titanium tubes come in hot-rolled or hot-extruded forms, meticulously straightened, and precision-machined for both inside and outside diameters. Surface polished to perfection, our titanium tubes are available in both heat-treated and non-heat-treated states. Equipped with 100% ultrasonic flaw detection, our products exemplify quality and reliability.
Titanium Tube Materials Available:
Hot-rolled Titanium Tubes: Outer Diameter (OD) ranges from 19mm to 325mm, with wall thickness between 9mm to 30mm, and lengths extending up to 5000mm (customizable based on manufacturer-customer agreements). - Hot-extruded Titanium Tubes: OD spans from 50mm to 160mm, wall thickness varies between 7mm to 35mm, with lengths up to 3000mm (adjustable per agreement).
Cold-finished Titanium Tubes
Cold-finished Titanium Tubes are delivered in heat-treated conditions, with surface etching, and subjected to hydrostatic or ultrasonic testing as per manufacturing specifications. Tubes are available with OD ranging from 6mm to 89mm, wall thickness between 0.5mm to 11mm, and lengths up to 6000mm (customizable as per manufacturer-customer agreements).
Titanium Welded Pipes
DaXun offers titanium welded pipes with diameters from 12.7mm to 38.1mm (0.47in to 1.5in), wall thickness from 0.4mm to 1.65mm (0.016in to 0.065in), and lengths stretching up to 25000mm. Suitable for engineering and chemical industries, the pipes come in Gr1, Gr2, and Gr12 titanium alloys. These pipes are crafted from flat-rolled raw materials using automatic tungsten inert gas (argon) welding on electric pipe welders, followed by on-line heat treatment. Each finished pipe undergoes rigorous mechanical testing, geometrical measurements, 100% ultrasonic and eddy current testing, and either pneumatic or hydrostatic testing, ensuring adherence to ASTM B 338 and ASME SB 338 standards. Packed meticulously as per customer specifications, our manufacturing processes and state-of-the-art inspection equipment ensure the highest quality thin wall welded pipes.
