DaXun excels in manufacturing and supplying titanium pipes with diameters ranging from 12.7mm to 38.1mm (0.47 in to 1.5 in), wall thickness from 0.4mm to 1.65mm (0.016 in to 0.065 in), and lengths up to 25000mm. Our titanium alloy pipes, including Gr1, Gr2, and Gr12, are ideal for engineering and chemical industries. Utilizing flat rolled raw material (kelp), we employ automated tungsten inert gas (argon) welding on electric pipe welders, followed by heat treatment. Titanium Grade 9, often dubbed 'half 6-4', is an exceptional alloy consisting of 3% aluminum and 2.5% vanadium, offering a remarkable 20 to 50% increase in mechanical strength compared tocommercially pure (CP)titanium grades. Additionally, it boasts superior formability and weldability when compared to the widely used Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5).
Titanium Grade 18 (UNS R56322) mirrors Grade 9 in all characteristics except for the inclusion of 0.04 - 0.08% palladium, which significantly enhances its corrosion resistance. Both Titanium Grades 9 and 18 exhibit a density of 4.48 g/cc, making them notably lighter-less than 60% the density of steel.
This high-performance material ensures robust corrosion resistance in oxidizing, neutral, and mildly reducing environments, including exposure to chlorides. Notably, Titanium Grade 18's added palladium further amplifies its corrosion resistance. The alloy can withstand oxidation up to temperatures of 600°F (316°C).
