Corrosion Resistance

Gr1, Gr2, Gr3, Gr4, and Gr5 titanium plates exhibit exceptional resistance to seawater and marine atmospheric corrosion. While the four C.P. grades share similar corrosion resistance, their mechanical properties differ based on oxygen and iron content. These titanium plates effectively resist attacks from wet chlorides, metal chlorides, chlorite and hypochlorite solutions, nitric and chromic acids, organic acids, and various industrial gases.

These sheets are available in either a work-hardened or heat-treated state, tailored to meet the precise needs of our customers. Depending on your specific requirements, the titanium sheets can undergo further mechanical or chemical processing to achieve the desired properties. 2. Hot-Rolled Titanium Plate: These robust titanium plates are produced through longitudinal rolling and can also involve longitudinal and transverse rolling. They are available in a thickness range from 3.0mm to 155mm and are supplied in a heat-treated condition. For specialized applications, creep flattening is employed as a heat treatment to eliminate internal stress and meet exact flatness specifications. The sheets can be customized into cut blanks or complex shapes as per customer requirements.3. Forged Titanium Plate: Produced through forging on a vertical hydraulic press, followed by rolling, or using open die forging methods, these titanium plates offer exceptional dimensions. Standard slabs can reach a thickness of up to 580 mm, a width of up to 2000 mm, and a length of up to 6000 mm. Dimensions and weights are customizable in consultation with the customer, ensuring a perfect fit for your specific needs.
