The Gr5 Grade 5 Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy plate, containing 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium, is an α-β type titanium alloy. Aluminum stabilizes the α phase, while vanadium stabilizes the β phase. This alloy boasts exceptional performance attributes including excellent room temperature and high-temperature strength, superior creep resistance, thermal stability, high fatigue performance, *** growth resistance in seawater, and commendable fracture toughness and resistance to hot salt stress corrosion. With its remarkable process plasticity and superplasticity, the Gr5 Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy is highly adaptable to various processing methods, along with welding and machining techniques.

Corrosion Resistance

Gr1, Gr2, Gr3, and Gr5 titanium plates exhibit formidable resistance to seawater and marine atmospheric corrosion. Although the four CP grades possess similar corrosion resistance profiles, their mechanical properties vary due to differences in oxygen and iron content. These titanium plates can withstand the corrosive effects of wet chlorides, metal chlorides, chlorite and hypochlorite solutions, nitric and chromic acids, organic acids, and various industrial gases.

1. Cold-Rolled Titanium Plate: Our cold-rolled titanium plates are meticulously crafted through a detailed plate rolling process, culminating in a precise cold rolling step. These sheets are available in either a work-hardened or heat-treated state, ensuring optimum performance. Tailored to your specific requirements, further processing can be either mechanical or chemical. 2. Hot-Rolled Titanium Plate: These plates are expertly produced through longitudinal rolling and combined longitudinal and transverse rolling, with thicknesses ranging from 3.0mm to 155mm. Delivered in a heat-treated condition, they can undergo creep flattening as part of the heat treatment process to alleviate internal stresses and achieve unique flatness standards. Our sheets can also be supplied as cut blanks, making them ideal for complex, custom-shaped parts. Further processing is tailored to meet your exact specifications.3. Forged Titanium Plate: Forged titanium plates are produced by forging steel ingots on a vertical hydraulic press, followed by rolling, open-die forging, or a combination of both. Our standard slabs measure up to 580 mm in thickness, 2000 mm in width, and 6000 mm in length, with dimensions and weights customizable based on mutual agreement between the manufacturer and customer.
