Daxun Alloy, as a premier titanium alloy tube manufacturer and supplier in China, offers superior Grade 5 titanium pipes globally, earning accolades from numerous projects.
Ti 6Al-4V (Grade 5 Titanium) is the most widely utilized titanium alloy, making up over 50% of total titanium usage. Typically used in the annealed state, it operates efficiently up to 400°C (750°F) and is welded with matching or ELI filler wire. This alloy boasts significantly higher strength and improved stiffness over commercial pure titanium tubes while also offering better thermal properties, except for thermal conductivity, which is about 60% lower. It can be heat-treated for even higher strength and performance. The seamless tubes of Grade 5 titanium are not only highly formable and low-density but also exhibit outstanding corrosion resistance.
This exceptional titanium alloy grade epitomizes the perfect blend of strength, corrosion resistance, weldability, and machinability. Its versatile nature makes it indispensable in diverse sectors including military aircraft, the aviation industry, rocket parts, precision-guided components, armor parts, naval equipment, and military vacuum equipment. The closely related 6-4ELI variant is frequently utilized in surgical implants. Ideally suited for applications requiring performance up to 400°C, it enhances ductility and toughness under cold working conditions while maintaining superb specific strength. Typically supplied in the annealed state, it can be heat-treated to amplify strength for various uses. As an all-purpose titanium alloy, the Ti 6Al-4V titanium seamless tube exhibits a broad range of optimal properties at temperatures spanning from -210°C to 400°C. Renowned as the most commercialized titanium alloy, Grade 5 titanium combines high strength with toughness, boasting excellent welding and processing characteristics.
